She would have done anything for love, but she found an angel from above,
who granted her every dream with a very high cost,
to have to deal with a love lost,
so she took the deal aware of the cost
she had her chance to know love,
and it was worth the cost,
she remembers his sparkling green eyes
and the times he should have told her lies
but lie to her he never did
he kept nothing hid,
so she loved him with all her heart
and then one day he died and she fell apart,
she knew it was the cost of a love so grand
she was proud the day she made the stand
stood up for her and moved on with her life,
it was a lil past year number two
when her eyes were no longer blue
when a secret love was shown to her,
he had loved her before
but he was never sure,
till he looked at her in the light of a campfire,
in she became his one desire,
in times when love doesn't last,
she remembers her troubled past
made her choice to celebrate this love,
and know her angel watches from above
it may only be a month old
but this is a love built on solid gold
of two hearts that loved in secret,
and now must make its way down the road
of the unknown,
