I was a cold and bitter stone wall when you came along
But somehow you got me to trust you
I had torn out my own heart and handed it right over to you
For the first time I felt cared for and loved
And in return I cared for you and loved you
You gave me anything I asked for even if it ment hurting yourself
And selfishly I took everything from you giving nothing in return
Yet you stuck by my side no matter what
I told you that when your gone I get depressed
So I feel more empty and alone than I ever did before
Are you trying to make me feel better by handing back my heart?
No I don't want it.... I never want to feel again
Please, if you love me keep it... I'll just fall apart with it
I don't want to go back to the way I once was... not letting anyone in
But, don't you see thats what I'm afraid of... not knowing
I just want to know that you will be there when I hit rock bottom and shatter
