You are talking of death,
Causing me a lot of stress,
Your father ruins your life,
Basically stabbing mine with a knife

Life is hard for you to cope,
Making me reach for my rope
I hate to see you live like this,
I’m with you through all of it

But if anything ever happens to you
I am going down with you, too
If you are token from life
I’m killing myself with the knife

If your father would just back away,
We would all make it day-by-day
But with him cutting into your space,
It feels like I’m getting punched in the face

Whenever he causes you pain
Anger drives through all of my veins
I wish that you and I could switch lives
So I could take all the blows and drives

I rather have the pain done to me
Instead of you, don’t you see?
I hate to have to hurt like this,
Feeling like you are falling in an abyss

So when your father hurts you,
The pain is brought to me, too
I hate to see my best friend struggle in life
It always makes me want to grab the knife

But I have to be strong for you
And be next to you all the time, too
I am here when your father causes pain
I, too, have the anger running through my veins

When you father destroys you
He is destroying me too
When he makes you fall
He destroys us all
