Magic of Evening

See the daytime meet the night
Darkness blending with the light
Burning bronze at close of day
Softly fades to silver grey
Cobweb mists on velvet cloud
Luminous moon shakes off her shroud
See the Plough amongst the stars
The Bear and planets linked with Mars
Waiting there as evening falls
Imagination softly calls
Miracles of land and sky
Feel your sense start to fly
Sitting here so calm and still
Rest and relax all your will
Lift your eyes and float away
Upwards to the milky way
