She handed you her heart
knowing it would break
like placing a glass ball
on a slanted table
waiting for it to fall
to hear it shatter in pain
to feel the tiny pieces
break apart and never
be put back together
her soul is shattered
but her outside is kept
kept together in fear
fear that you would run
to get away from the past
to leave her behind
to say you dont love her
to love someone else
because her heart knows
its easier to miss someone
when they dont love you
but they love another
another glass heart
that hasnt been broken
not quite, not yet
it sits on the slanted table
waiting to fall and break
to shatter in pain
to feel the tiny pieces
to love you with every single one.

I Miss You Ryan. It's Funny How Someone Can Break Your Heart And You Can Still Love Them With All The Little Pieces.
