into her pretty little head
bugged her day in and day out.
Ringing the bells of suspicion, loud
for the next door to hear.

Made her quarrel with the dear,
’nd called him dirty liar
day in and day out, ‘nd
never let him come near.

Lo, arrived the dooms day
just when the bug done
with its little game, and left behind
a gift of bitter bundle of tearful-pain.

Lovely shining sunny-day deformed
into grim gloomy burning hell to day,
“suspicion” – a shivering chilly cold breeze pierced the
tender bones to freeze.

For a blinking second she sat and wondered;
what a dimwit she had been
to ditch the gentle warm cozy heart,
for a rootless, reckless, silly cause.

She perished as one among a thousand
beneath the filthy muck,
Battered like an old leaf,
along buried her dreamy dear -home
with no one near.

A daring nasty little bug, pierced
