There’s a man lives down my way
It’s man in slogan hat.
Everyday and every hour slogan changes on Slogan man’s hat.
Sometimes slogan’s cheerful, carefree and bright.
Sometimes slogan makes no sense but is fun,
But today, this week, this month, this year, this life
Slogan just says ‘Bleak’.
And Man in Slogan Hat’s demeanour tells a sorry tale,
An epic story of failure and despair,
A slogan hat in need of repair.
Felt worn through, lining dirty brown
And where Slogan man puts his slogan
It’s cracked and yellow like a well-loved domino.
