Shadows of darkness and despair are cast throughout the dying land
The air is filled with a hate so strong, against it no one can stand
Few there are that have the strength to overpower such a driven madness
All the rest are lost with no hope, overcome by their pain and sadness
No one can see it is worthless to try to believe theres anything but betrayal
Fighting the truth, they hold on to the false hope that maybe this time they wont fail
To wounded to go on much longer, never able to get past this never ending trial
Instead they keep their minds closed to the truth, staying forever in denial
But again the harshness of reality shows that they are not in control of their fate
No love is there to be found in this world of pain, only feelings of dismay and hate
Still there are the ones that question all, determined to survive this endless nightmare
But I am not one, I am lost forever in the pain of this life no one to love and no one to care
