a new moon
imbolc
a magical, mesmerizing, shimmering evening of great promises in store
a gift from the angels for us?
tis planned the evening of our handfasting
our commitment for a year and a day
for all of time and still more to come
a life-time partnership
tis not a guarantee, mind you
of life-long harmony and happiness,
but for now an knowledgment of this magical joyfulness that is felt
our hopes of personal growth and freedom for each other
and this
a wonderful celebration of our caring, our love
so the dance begins in earnest now
as we have both agreed that
our journey together will now continue
the wheel that seemed to have no beginning , nor ending
begins to turn again
for us
oh brighid, daughter of dagda, patroness of poetic inspiration, prophecy, and healing
with your white wand
your fire burns bright today
you mark the coming of spring, a new beginning for all...
look to us fondly
am thinking of this evening
tis a gypsy-like love spell he's cast on me
him with his dancing eyes, his gorgeous smile, his beautiful words, the caring and laughter...he is lovely!!!!
a gentle giant with the sexy voice
i can picture us standing there with continual soft snowflakes of glittering stars gently falling
delicate mists of promises softly spoken
the eloquence of other unspoken messages in our eyes
i picture it so perfect and romantic
so full of promise
but...but...what seems to be the matter?
as woman i have the last word....
FLY AWAY, FLY AWAY
on my iridescent butterfly wings
when the urgings come i will fly
i know i will
and i dread the breaking of his heart
