But nothing ever to this degree.

i wish i could find out about myself.
learn about the real me.
i wish that i could be anything i could dream.
i wish for something, anything to take me away.
i wish everyone would hate me.
i wish no one cared either way.

I can taste the air, how crisp and clear... the decision lies with me, and I'm showing no fear. I see you, struggling to finally let me go. Holding my body up off the floor, when everything's feeling cold. I can still feel your hot tears brush my cheek. I've showed all the signs of it, for at least three weeks. I'd say I wish for it, but you could never understand. Praying on your knees now, you're still holding both my hands. The T.V. is still blaring, because you didn't think about turning it off. You ran up the stairs after the shot was fired and cancelled out every thought. You didn’t know what to think, I was laying there with a bullet in me. You knew I harmed and threw a few fits, but nothing ever to this degree.
