Full Moons Light

She awoke in a clearing near the woods
Her hair matted, clothing torn and bloody
No memory does she have of the night
Everything is fuzzy and muddy
An echo of howls and eyes flashing
In the full moonlight
In her inner being
She sees a foggy sight
He watches as she rises
Her movements still part animal
He knows one day
She will accept her life full
But for now she chooses
To forget who she really is
But someday she will see
And then she will truly be his
And they will rule the shadows
Together they will hunt the night
And fear will reign in the forest
The moment of the full moons light
