Long time ago, in twenty eight,
In days of toil and strife
Linked in Holy wedlock then
You two were man and wife.
And as the years have rolled on by
Not all your skies were blue,
Dreams may not all have been fullfilled,
However you've come through.
And as you stand, as you have done,
Rightly side by side,
Remembering those happy years,
Your hearts are filled with pride.
So in the years that lie ahead
Good Health, Good Luck, God Bless,
Old friends and new join in to wish
Long life and happiness.
During all those fifty years
Each step was planned with care
Now you've proved it can be done
With love and trust you share.
Extra special folk like you
Deserve the best in life.
Deep down inside you found the true
Ingredients of life.
No denying these to be
Good husband and good wife.
