Shall We Dance?

gaze into the eyes of death
stare into the black abyss
when you are finally called upon
gracefully dance with him

A nice young fellow
bringing you back and fourth
whirling you around

off in the distance
appears a flickering light?

its midnight now
yet it seems it has all along

fall in an endless pit?
search for
that little
gasp of light?

dive into an empty meaningless?
move onto a greater life?

dancing apart now
you're on your own now
stearing your way into an empty
black
abyss

anything can be true
everything could be false
death has made its mark
and now
you're on your own
