The moon overhead, the clouds that have all gone away,
Like humans hearts, that can never be held in place.
This small heart, beating with earth’s pain,
Might as well be thrown away.

No more pain, within the hearts of man,
and no more, hiding out in the dark.
There is little hope,
In this world of chaos.

Burn on, Burn on,
Strive for the strength to carry on.
Spread your wings, of flight,
and learn to build your strength high.
Live on, Burn on,
Your little light of hope.

Here comes the rain again, pouring down on my head,
As I walk down, these lonely streets tonight.
And everyone, I hear cry out in their sleep,
the fear of what they may bring to life.

No more pain, within the hearts of man,
and no more, hiding out in the dark.
There is little hope,
In this world of chaos.

Burn on, Burn on,
Strive for the strength to carry on.
Spread your wings, of flight,
and learn to build your strength up high.
Live on, Burn on,
Your little light of hope.

(Break)

Burn on, Burn on,
Strive for the strength to carry on.
Spread your wings, of flight,
and learn to build your strength up high.
Live on, Burn on,
Your little light of hope shimmers still.
Live on, Burn on,
Within the dark world of pain.
