Falling out of the norm

Broken glass wishes
Settle themselves upon the rose
While the rain washes all the pain away
And the wine helps her loose control
Rest along the endless horizon
Piece together the pieces
And map your life the way you want
Take no heed in the spiders words
As the venom does its job
Lay amongst the shredded hopes
And fall down the endless canyon
The child knows the difficult climb down hill
Mother wraps her arms tightly
To let him drown in misery
Fall out of the dream
Into a misty reality
A place of refuge and shelter
Digging it's nails into your flesh
The masses are pileing up
Drowning in unmistakened anguish
Cry to me child, cry to me
And listen to my lullaby
Set your heavy head upon her bosom
And sleep away the torture
As you slip into a never-ending dream
