All I get from you is negative attention,
Like an overdose on detention.
You ignore when you don't care,
But throw in an insult or two to be fair.

You never praise with good intention
For fear of a happiness convention.
You take away my reasons to exist,
And gladly watch insanity persist.

You push for a bad reaction,
But you expect magical inaction.
Your hypocrisy you ignore everyday,
And I'm supposed to say it's just your way.

Through my struggle, you continue to win,
I bet you're glad to see my confidence wearing thin.
As I slowly fill the emptiness of confession
With the cold fog of depression.

I don't think I'll sleep anymore,
For, anyway, my future looks poor.
I wait hungrily for something that will never come,
A bit of your understanding, the size of my thumb.

Human needs are of want, too
Daresay I'll never be loved by you.
But it's okay, tragic story to tell
How for many more years, I get to rot in hell.
