Is love suppose to kill
To roam and stalk it’s prey
My love for him
Was buried with my heart
Yesterday
There’s no going back for it
No need to want it
I thought I had something?
Until it was gone and I was no longer able to flaunt it
It’s lonely out here
With no one to love
It gets scary out here
This thing called reality
Is frightening me
It’s silly to think that love would never hurt me
It’s almost stupid to think
That my heart would never leave me
It gets hard out here
Having to breath in all this fear
It gets hectic out here
When you’re trying to be tough
But you want so much to drop a tear
I can’t take it any more
And I wish so much that someone could be here
It’s like prison
But for ex-lovers
For heart seekers
And lonely tear beaters
It’ll all end soon
Love won’t hunt for me anymore
But it’s still lonely
Having a heart that isn’t free
