Blessed am I to feel the comfort,of your constant motherly love
You guide my soul and tame my fears,as though an angel from above
I close my eyes and picture you, always a smile upon your face
Kindness beaming from your heart, you're a woman of such grace

Times when I am lost for light, and darkness creeps around
I only have to think of you and renewed hope is found
It's true we may not be of blood, but we are of the heart
And like a daughter to a mother,my love will not depart

Tomorrow when the mornings sun awakens me from sleep
I'll go out to my garden and pot a plant,I'll always keep
And when next spring comes calling, every single day
I'll stand before your flower, and to Dear God I'll say

Thankyou for the treasure you have brought into my life
This woman like my mother, makes everything alright
For all the precious moments, that I'm blessed to have her love
Thankyou for my Annie,my angel sent from up above
