is the energy of a false lovers kiss.
The toxic poison is defused,
and is released so as to confuse.

Disillusionment extinguishes the flame of desire,
and the embers eventually turn cold and expire.
Sadness permeates my being,
and strong emotions are conceived.

Not for the loss of my partner, I grieve.
Rather for the termination of a relationship, I had perceived.
Many times I looked into your eyes,
and saw only your deceit and lies.

How many disappointments did you expect me to bear?
The reciprocal balance was never fair.
You had an excuse for everything.
There seemed nothing accomplished by arguing.

I feel so betrayed and hurt,
but I'm tired of groveling in the dirt.
It amazes me that you were so shocked,
when I announced to you that our relationship, I dropped.

You had no insight whatsoever,
as to why I would not want this to last forever.
Problem is you wanted an obedient puppy dog to cuddle and play,
unfortunately I wanted a mate with whom to share my days.

The fact it's over does not cause me to be downhearted,
in that it never really got started.
Although some things were initiated,
I eventually became totally alienated.
