Something so ugly?

Or is it beautiful?
I’m not too sure
Some like Creg see the flower and what it stands for
as the purest beauty of all

Marigolds are his favorite flower.
He sits that gun beside the vase of marigolds I gave him
He also sat a note that said
“I’m sorry Jen I love you too much….”
He then laid down on the bed with a marigold between his hands

He bled for hours until he died
He commited suicide
He shot himself in the gut
As if to say I didn’t kill me you did

I think I caused it
I know I pulled the trigger by mistake

Now he's caused my crimson puddles to come back
with a steady drip drip drip [comments] => 1 [counter] => 203 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Jen_unknown_to_myself [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Marigold the Flower of Death
