Nightmare of reality, like falling rain upon my head coming down
In my love for her and in the regret for what I have done, gasping for air I have begun to drown
Watching birds fly over head with such purpose and certainty
Wishing this nightmare was just a dream but in all truth it is reality
It is said that nightmares arent real when in all actuality they are
They can show things of the past or of the future, however near or far
Wanting to take a negative and turn it into a positive, a nightmare into a dream
For it is this reality oh how surrealit does seem

Nightmare of reality seems so surreal
Is she lashing out because she is hurt or is hate what she really does feel
