Sniffing the fake roses in wal mart
Watching the old people flaunt around well buying there garments
I never thought that I would be so affected by you that day
It was just a meeting experience
Just thought we would be another fling at first
Another few seconds of smiles and it would be over
But I fell hard for you
So hard that I let all the horrible things about you not affect me
I thought that we could leave off spoons full of laughter and love
Wrestle each other before we went to bed at night
Wake up to a new day and spend the rest of our lives in the movie theaters
Watch old films so are faces wouldn’t grow old
No tears and frowns for us because we were so in love
But looking back it’s like the laughter, smiles and games all added up to tears and frowns
I remember the day I saw you after the nine months apart
You still knew how to make me smile and laugh
I wish I could give you my heart, but I’m not ready for that
I wish I could give you my everything once again
But its so hard when my trust is dead
I always thought of you before my eyes went to dreams
Before my words went to sleep
After I won’t poems about how you were dead to me
When I was a sixteen year old boy you were my world
I’m nineteen now with so much to show, but my head is filled with thoughts of you
When I have a new some body
Maybe it’s because you were my first real love
At least I consider you to be my first
I just thought we would last with our love
Those years together
Those nights spend talking
Those days I spent walking just to see you
Seem so long ago now
a part of me is always going to belong to you
You have a piece of me
I just wish we could be friends again
Talk or something
I hate knowing I lost you for good
I saved your photos your poem
I just don’t know what to do
This is in the moment
Just like we were
I don’t know how to end this because we ended the same way
