A trail of landmines,
Walking, walking, with no signs,
But still, with a determined mind.

Step by step gets harder,
The legs ache as it gets further,
The heart cries and tears blubber,
But my resolve did not waver.

It is not really easy,
To leave behind a meadow so grassy,
The simple and the breezy,
For the wild tempestuous sea.

But it is the matter of choosing,
The only option in this little thing,
You and I call it moving,
Forward, forward, I am moving.

No glance behind,
No more doubts in my mind.

Stepping to leave behind,
A trail of landmines,
Walking, walking, with no signs,
But still, with a determined mind.

Step by step gets harder,
The legs ache as it gets further,
The heart cries and tears blubber,
But my resolve did not waver.

It is not really easy,
To leave behind a meadow so grassy,
The simple and the breezy,
For the wild tempestuous sea.

But it is the matter of choosing,
The only option in this little thing,
You and I call it moving,
Forward, forward, I am moving.

No glance behind,
No more doubts in my mind.
