It seems I'm damned if I do
Damned if I don't
So I keep on trying
Because I know that you won't
But I'm at the end of my rope
I can no longer find ways to cope
With the anger and frustration
And the pain you inflict with no explanation
The mistreatment and misuse
Lack of respect and constant abuse
It's really beginning to take its toll
I can feel the anger building in my soul
Another year older
Another year colder
Progression turned to aggression
Leading to severe depression
And a sick obsession
I fell in love with the sadness
Filled with supressed madness
I'm beginning to erode
I'm about to explode
I'm a living wreck
Standing on a chair with a rope around my neck
I can't take it anymore
Staring at photos of us scattered along the floor
Please, I'm telling you
I can't take it anymore
I tried to hold on
Did my best to be strong
Eventhough you were gone
I stayed true all along
And look at where it got me?
You might as well have picked up a gun
Pointed it to my heart and shot me
I'd be better off than I am right now
Because ever since you left
Each and every breath was like a slow death
I could feel myself dying
But yet I kept on trying
Trying to save the love between you and me
Can't you see...
I've always known it was worth fighting for
I just can't take it anymore
And anything worth fighting for
Is worth dying for
I've lost all hope
I'm at the end...
End of my rope.
