Tsunami(Dream)
Herculean walls of water ascend,
Up from the lurid depths of sea,
To huge for us comprehend,
And as of yet, to far to see,
I stood on the hillside of basalt and fire,
To watch the setting sunlight wade,
Over the oceans blue attire,
And waited for the cannonade,
Eastward a continent shielded in mist,
Out to the west, the oceans wrath,
Balled in its multi-water fist,
Tore the plates of earth in half,
A merciless bounding of natures design
Exempt from any kind of choice,
There is no stopping its decline,
No quelling its tremendous voice.
A chasm like gaping replaces the ground
Engulfed in litres end on end,
And all that I can feel is sound,
The catastrophic seas descend,
I feel no hate towards this blue,
Below me sinks the towns of man,
This dream has given me a clue
Of earth before we all began….
