[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Tear me apart from her
I am asking for the strength to move on
The past is so enticing
With all its innocence and shameless smiles
Prettier flowers bloom now in the garden of my frustration
Darker nights fill the empty vacuum left in my salvation
Give me hope, prosperity, and my health, thank you
I will return all that is excess, unused, abandoned
Keep me away from familiar places where we have sat and chatted
Keep me out of establishments where we ate, drank and satiated
Pull me closer towards a new beckon of light, one with less baggage
Pull me in tighter to where I belong, to where I can humbly manage
Place the magic words on the tip of my tongue to be delivered swiftly
Before she leaves, before she runs, before never has a chance to erupt
Summon me the exact touch that confesses my careless nature
A breeze of wind, a fallen leaf, a blade of grass, send me a sign of the future
Rip me apart from her
So that free is not only a state of mind
So that we can be together in time
So that she becomes
mine
all mine
