[title] => A Year in Haiku
[time] => 2009-06-01 15:16:26
[hometext] => After 2 and a half years of study, my haiku adventure is still ever-changing.
[bodytext] => A spring thunderstorm --
large drops slam the petals of
tiny pink flowers.
Black roads crest the hill --
the distant trees dance and sway
through the waves of heat.
Leaves silently fall --
a poet's blank paper sits
under a still pen.
The night owl waits
for any sign of dinner --
cold, the first snowfall.
