Burdened with a heavy load?
Has your face a permanent frown
As you look upon Life’s road?
Then, with your head looking down
The ground is all you’ll see;
Even a king with a golden crown
No joys in life will there be.
For those who do not raise
Their head up to the skies
Will only see the blacks, the greys
And only life’s lows, no highs.
Yet, there are many highs to gain
Along life’s long and bumpy path,
Looking up, you see the sun, not rain,
And reasons to dance and laugh.
So, if we can try our best someway
Not in a deep rut to be stuck
But raise our heads upwards today
Then, we’ll find it the best way look!

Feeling blue, a little down,
Burdened with a heavy load?
Has your face a permanent frown
As you look upon Life’s road?
Then, with your head looking down
The ground is all you’ll see;
Even a king with a golden crown
No joys in life will there be.
For those who do not raise
Their head up to the skies
Will only see the blacks, the greys
And only life’s lows, no highs.
Yet, there are many highs to gain
Along life’s long and bumpy path,
Looking up, you see the sun, not rain,
And reasons to dance and laugh.
So, if we can try our best someway
Not in a deep rut to be stuck
But raise our heads upwards today
Then, we’ll find it the best way look!
