glass shadow breaks

in rays, suspended

black shards

cast. . . looming. . . mesmerize

dismiss the fray

to dissipate

upon the night, as it subsides.

( serpent syndrome. . . )

amid pretending

the gagging sound

is not my own / can not be mine

a will-full child

stubborn, unmentioned

enumerating. . .

how parts collide.

( coalesce. . . )

this death skull-cap

explodes within

no sweet surrender

& finely guarded, no resign

dusk wraps itself around still windows

to coil in solemn discipline

strong winds, no wings for Palestine.
