When the call-up comes 'round
When your commander-in-chief orders
Troops on the ground
With a salute of respect
You'll say, Yes, Sir, we'll give our best
Your training takes over; all options withdrawn
Your mission? the ultimate test
You're the salt of the earth
Of America's Armed Forces
Whether on the sea, on land, or in the air
Prevailing without question; you'll finish the course
Above all; keep this thought with you; Americans care
Dear daughter, dear husband
Dear brother, dear son
We'll wrap you in prayer
'Til your long journey's done
Do not fret, do not give a thought
Remember; angels can tread
Where humans cannot
From the corners of glory
God's heavenly host
Are being summoned, briefed, sent
Where they're needed most
You may hear the flutter of their wings
You may feel their touch so slight
They're in the service of the King of Kings
To see you through the days and nights
Nine-One-One- Angels
Our plea is urgent once more
Calling all angels
Carry out your duties as before
