Your Poetry Dot Com - Can You.....

You ask me how I view you
And then you tell me how you view me
You tell me there's a reason for things
And you don't understand why it's the way it is
Even though you like it that way
You say you have feelings too
You're not just 'that guy'
But either way
I have a question to ask:
Can you get out of my head?

You've grown a little
Just enough to where it's still comfortable
And it's pretty obvious
You're breaking school rules with that hair
A word I would use to describe you
Would have to be gracefully-shabby
And a little confused but sure at the same time
But you're just as cute as always
So I still have a question to ask:
Can you get out of my head?

You flirt with me shamelessly
Like there are no tomorrows or consequences
Tapping my shoulder and making me look
Resting your head on me
When you've had a sleepless night
Slipping your hand into mine
Giving me 'that kind of look"
Then exploding into your contagious laughter
And I can't help but ask this question:
Can you get out of my heart?
