[title] => Questions of a caged bird
[time] => 2009-12-01 18:34:18
[hometext] => Written by Megan Huntington and Jacqui Smith
[bodytext] => Tell me why you even bother to stay,
And this time, don’t tell me another lie.
Tell me why you left my arms for hers,
She must be ten times more beautiful than I.
Tell me if her lips taste like mine,
Tell me if she loves you like I do.
Tell me if she says your name the same,
Tell me why I’m not good enough for you.
Tell me why you always said, “I love you,
You’re my one and only.”
You promised you would always love me,
And that you would never leave me feeling lonely.
I feel like a caged bird,
Longing to be free.
How long did you think you could have her,
At the same time you wanted me?
I wonder what you will do,
When she leaves you like you left me.
By the time you open the door,
I will have already spread my wings and flown free.
Tell me, was she worth it?
Was she worth loosing me?
You can only hurt the one who loves you so much,
Before the spread their wings and fly free.
