Tormenting my thoughts, making my choices
What is wrong with today?
Take all of my pain away
I cannot see, darkness reigns supreme
All the pain is gone, is this a dream?
Am I asleep? Or is this real?
What are these emotions that I feel?
Do you think you really know me?
I’m not who I pretend to be
My world has scars upon its face
It lies raped with disgrace
Set me free, please, I’m your slave
Drinking the blood which you crave
Life is now mine for the taking
As I listen to my awakening.

Late at night I hear all these voices
Tormenting my thoughts, making my choices
What is wrong with today?
Take all of my pain away
I cannot see, darkness reigns supreme
All the pain is gone, is this a dream?
Am I asleep? Or is this real?
What are these emotions that I feel?
Do you think you really know me?
I’m not who I pretend to be
My world has scars upon its face
It lies raped with disgrace
Set me free, please, I’m your slave
Drinking the blood which you crave
Life is now mine for the taking
As I listen to my awakening.
