I can hear your voice calling me, it's coming from the midnight sky,
I reach for your star as i let out a cry,

You're dazzling in the abyss watching over my every move,
As I drink myself to death, I know you would disprove,

Your star twinkles as I yearn from you back,
I see nothing but stars as i hit the ground with a whack,

I can not live through the day without the protection of my star,
I put away the whiskey as I start the car,

My destination is the starry sky above,
Finally to be reunited with my long lost love,

The car leaves the cliff and i fall to my fate,
Two stars will shine tonight, me and my soul mate
