I want you to be in my life
As long as you can call yourself alive,
And I want you to breathe
The air that's all around me,
Is it too much to ask
Or you're ready to live
By the rules I've made up,
Without tryin' to break them,
Cos I wanna live
Just to love you as long as I can be,
Just to kiss you as long as I can breathe,
And just to hold you as long as I have hands,
Yes, that's how I'll be lovin' you, baby,
Cos I wanna hear your voice as long as I can hear
And I wanna see your face as long as I can see,
And I wanna follow you as long as I have feet
Cos I'm in love with you head over heels, baby.
I want the nights with you
Will never come to an end,
I wanna share with you
All the hardships and pleasures.
I know we will grow old in one day,
And I know how I'll name our baby,
And even in what church we'll christen him
I've thought of it all still then
When I saw you in the first time
I've thought over all to coins in a fountain
Cos as long as you love me I'm alive
And I've got time to dream about our future,
I already know that I'll be livin'
Just to love you as long as I can be,
Just to kiss you as long as I can breathe,
And just to hold you as long as I have hands,
Yes, that's how I'll be lovin' you, baby,

Yet you still stay in delightful ignorance
And the truth, most likely, will frighten you
