so that I may come back home to thee,
thee who is the love of my life,
to whom I have caused so much strife.
Onward I shall forever sail,
and to get to you I shall not fail.
If ever I meet Davy Jones,
I shall not be be shaken in my bones.
For I shall be thinking about you my sweet love,
that guides me like a light from above.
Through the darkness your light leads me,
so that I might be with ye.
If ever there is a time that I come back home,
I hope that you shall be as sweet as a beautiful poem.
If I die whilst sail,
even in death my search for thee I shall not fail. I shall sail the seas,
so that I may come back home to thee,
thee who is the love of my life,
