I am a happy go lucky guy who just tries to convey the anguish of others in verse [bodytext] => You almost had it all my dear,
My home, my heart, my life.
But you had issues going far beyond
Being labeled as my wife.

Today I saw your mugshot
In the local paper here.
Mascara tears ran dow your cheeks,
And your blouse was stained with beer.

Your charge was prostitution,
And I saw it was not your first.
You sell to others what I couldn’t have,
To quench your drug borne thirst.

Your face looked like a skeleton
With a taught white see through skin.
Your bosoms sagged like a wrinkled bag,
And your waist seemed sickly thin.

Your beauty once left me speechless,
When you walked into my sight.
In your kisses I once was raptured,
And in your arms was my delight.

I shudder and stop to ask myself
What more could I have done?
I put you on a pedestal,
Why did you from me run?

You called me your Prince Charming,
Who came and rescued you.
You promised to show love for me
In everything you do!

Your mugshot told me something else.
It listed a high bond.
At one time I would have rescued you.
But honey, I’ve moved on!
