A sailor leaves be hide his Mother, Father, Wife and kids. Weeks go by as they wait. Waiting to hear from that lonely sailor. Waiting for the call that never comes the knock on the door saying it won’t be coming. They wait for letters from that sailor they love so very much. As time goes by it gets hard but what if you were wearing his boots. The sailor has no one, no one but the other sailors he is sick of seeing. Day after day its all the same he forgets to write home or just don’t have the time. Day bleed together as one, weeks go by all the same. FIRE on the ship he knows what to do. Running though the P-ways down the ladder grabs his suit and mask trying to save his ship and shipmates so they can go home safe. Running to the fire then he sees black next thing he knows he’s in his rack with a broken arm. Laying in his rake thinking of his beautiful family back home, As the mail is flown on to the ship as he reads what he got his pain goes away. So as his family maybe waiting for him to send that first letter they will never know how much it means to a sailor to get letters from home.
