I am hurting today but am pretending to be more okay than I am.
Why am I doing this silly thing you ask?
Because my partner blames herself for my being in an automobile
accident.
It wasn't really her fault as sometimes, things just happen you see.
No one is at fault just between you and me. It was so scary when
I hit my head and very painful too.
But I had to reassure my friend as she was more upset than even me.
It is an automatic thing I do when I care about someone.
I try to be more okay than I really am. It isn't a sham, just the way I
learned to be from little on. I wouldn't have lived then, if I had let
my true feelings show. Cause once she'd know, she'd hurt me
more and more you see. My mother that is, as she loved to hurt
me. That made her feel powerful and happy to see me in pain.
So I learned to keep it inside. That is how I did survive.
