[bodytext] => I take back anything I ever said...
I wish to pluck the words right from the air
And drop them back into my mouth - I'll swallow them whole
Let me have all and any of the opinions that I have voiced
And I'll lock them back inside my mind
I want a clean slate
I want to change
But you've all got these opinions, ideas, ideals and words
Etched into my skin
You wouldn't believe me if I said I changed my mind
You wouldn't trust me if I said...
I wish to steal the words from the air and
Inhale them back to form something new
Something more like me
So let me have these vital words
And let me bury them in the grave of who I used to be
I want to recreate myself
But I'm tied down with the words you've already heard
You look at me like they've been carved in
And that I'll never be able to offer something new
You wouldn't change your view if I said I had
You wouldn't trust me if I said...
And I want to take back everything...
