[title] => Summer Down the Shore
[time] => 2010-08-03 09:58:51
[hometext] => This is an observational poem about the summertime.
[bodytext] => The summer breeze breathes painfully hot,
upon the lips of the ocean,
while waves do endless cartwheels toward the sand.
Just for a moment, with closed arms,
the clouds shun the sunny weather,
lending loungers a relieving, helping hand.
Meanwhile propped umbrellas mark the beach,
like thumbtacks scattered on a map,
laced with blankets and trailed by shovels and pails.
As a single feather floats,
unphased, above the empty faces,
its frayed, wavering trail leads and catches in the sails.
