The Crickets

Topic: Sad Poetry

Under grasses God abounds,
Above wet or arid grounds,
There live them, the small crickets,
To whom we're sometimes pickets,
But hark the night without them,
Surely you'll prepare to beam,
For silence scares us,
More than the natural world has!
