Each second lasting me a lifetime
I can feel it draining me too

I fall numb and victim to the clocks showering insanity
Maybe it finally got to my lungs
But then wouldn't it be out of my head
That head that is a septic tank of empty thoughts, broken promises and harsh rough edged words

I feel another wave hit me
the tide carries its own scars cross my naked and helpless body
some stick and litter my face with what feels like broken glass
but truely thats beneath my feet now
digging in and breaking from the surface down

ive lost touch with myself
I wonder that if i forget who i am for a moment
Who would i be if i wake up?
