[hometext] => This was an assignment. We were to write a poem in the vain of Samuel Coleridge, and so I did. It is after the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. Not sure if it's a tribute, but its close.
[bodytext] => In a tangled, frizzy, slimy mess
The head detached from the body next to the dress
The arms and Legs on top of the bed
The eyes lifeless and dead
The dress lay tattered in peices on the ground
The head still, perfectly round
Like Noah saw the world after the flood
White skin ravaged at the throat, yet not a drop of blood
In dire need of dust pan and broom
A happy dog looked around the room
White cotton stuffing, ripped stitches, and the tag Mattel
I hope that stupid, doll-murdering puppy rots in h***.
