my secret stage
where fleeting feeling
and words concealing
coalesce...
to something more.

Memoirs of filth ridden bars
snap-shots of a beach
lit with stars
time, so fast
i try to grasp
but like water in my hands
elusive desert sands
nothing more.

An ocean above me
an ocean below
but no crushing weight
no pointless hate
just waves
and a breeze off-shore.

A poets soul
in a mind at war
tempted by wealth
and these drunken whores
lost souls...

Find me a path
that leads away
from endless concrete
this cold and gray
landscape
