An empty page, a lack of thought
a castle with a dried out moat
broken walls with puncture holes
a market place with empty stalls
a concrete mind that's set on wind
tethers worn, that cannot bind
a sky of dust, the ground needs rain
a new settee, a chocolate stain
a shoe of glass, missing a slither
a drunken, soaken, stenching liver
an eye once bright, with cataracts
a senile quiz team, minus facts
a polished car with missing keys
cook from defrost, stuck on freeze
a motorbike laid on it's side
treachery seen, losing pride
a teapot with a broken spout
a swimming pool at times of drought

a chance to write with clarity
an ancient home antiquity
boundaries through which we see
no need to shop, we'll stop for tea
strong of thought and iron wrought
freedom found if freedom sought
a clear blue sky, no chance of rain
somewhere to sit without refrain
an artefact with signs of wear
a hardy organ needing care
she's ignorant of hairs on chin
at last a pub quiz we can win!
A classic motor shining bright
leave it out and eat at night
four wheels are better than two
I know that I'll get over you
I've not drunk coffee in a while
a lovely open room of tiles
