Who is the real loser
In the town of Perugia?
As we all count the cost of the terrible trial.
Che sera sera,
What will be will be
As Knox gladly walks free
With her head held so high
On a plane soon she’ll fly
To the United States of America.
Does anyone remember Meredith?
The beloved sister and daughter
Who was led to her slaughter
In the sunny climes of Italy?
I watch an intense media scrum
By the amnesiac scum
Who think naught of the bereaved family.
All think of La Knox
With her long flowing locks,
Who with incredible luck
No doubt an idea on a buck
Walks free from a jail in Perugia.
I choose to remember Meredith Kercher.
The real victim of this terrible tale.
