You'd love me to my death...why wait?
This child was barely born and yet
she'll have no memories to forget

What once was joy is now disgust
what now is doubt began as trust
I loved you for your every move
and now my pain your joy will prove.

What turned your perfect heart to ice?
And to think...for you I would die twice.
I love you now...yes, ever still
Though it be against your will

Ah, yes, love, the sweetest pain
On human hearts it rests its strain

Beware the time you spend in love...
for change comes swiftly - from above.
