Best friend of a year
But you are the one I am close to
Not by blood, but my brother
Fate is how we met each other

It is so sad to watch you cry
To see you hurt
Don't wish to die
I love you with my whole heart
Our special bond won't tear apart

You wanted suicide, but I stepped in
You helped me just the same
To think how much we've wanted death
We've stuck with each other with every breath
You're always there for me
And me for you too
And if things go down
I'd always take a bullet for you [comments] => 1 [counter] => 89 [topic] => 16 [informant] => AaroKeith [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Christopher Manuel

I've barely known you
Best friend of a year
But you are the one I am close to
Not by blood, but my brother
Fate is how we met each other

It is so sad to watch you cry
To see you hurt
Don't wish to die
I love you with my whole heart
Our special bond won't tear apart

You wanted suicide, but I stepped in

To think how much we've wanted death
We've stuck with each other with every breath
You're always there for me
