The time we have together
Is never enough it seems
Because when I get to hold you
It goes away just like a dream

I just wish it was real
I just want you to hold
I want you in my arms
I don’t want to lose you

In my dreams I see you smile
Start to laugh then fade away
Because then I wake up
As I start a brand new day

One where you’re so far away
And I’m sitting here alone
I can’t do it without you
Without you I feel no hope

I just wish I could dream
Forever without pain
Without me waking up
And you won’t fade away

Because I love you so much
I know you know it
But my dreams feel so real
I want to have it

My reality is a dream
Because once I have you
You have to go away
But I don’t want too

Every time I wake up
I want you there next to me
So I know the dream won’t end
Till the day you die with me

But patience is what we need
It’s something I can’t say
I can’t feel it, I don’t have it
Because I need you today

Please come home to me
So the dream can come to life
Stay with me forever
And never leave my sight

It takes you in my life
To give me hope inside
I need you in my life
To carry on inside

The time we have together
